Bob Wellman - PMgrid - Romenna

Photos from PMgrid of the 16 sim Romenna build there. The city and harbour occupy 6 sims and the other 10 are used for open countryside and forests paths, as well as a the Hamlet of Sharpcliffe and the small fishing Harbour at Fishtown to explore. Click on each photo for an enlargement and some info about the picture.

I have added some more pictures and more descriptions of the photographs. I have tried to make it like a guided tour but unfortunately I cant find any way to oder the photos so they are seen in the correct order. Could that facility be added to this photo album utility?

Nice Build.  It looks huge :)

Thank you... it is huge and could be even bigger if we had more servers.

Running In Pmgrid it is 6 sims for the city/harbour and another 10 for the surrounding countryside/forest/mountains/villages

All the work of Nick Lassard who built Osgiliath in SL which is unfortunately no longer in existance. I for one admire his work so that why I have hosted it for him on PMgrid for free.

The Romenna build is also now (at least in part) present in Arda grid too. They have 9 sims worth of the city/harbour sims and a bit of countryside. So people there can use it for role play.

The problem with a build like this is finding sufficient server space/power to run it with high user concurrency. We at Pmgrid are struggling with that at present but if any kind person has a spare server that they would like to connect to our grid to help out with this project I would be only too happy to hear from them.
