Logging into the Grid

Imprudence Viewer
The easiest and fastest way to log into OSgrid is to use Imprudence Viewer which is pre-configured to connect to OSgrid.org
provided by the Imprudence Development Team. Support available at http://imprudenceviewer.org

After installing Imprudence viewer double click the launch icon from your desktop or start menu you will see the following below:

After selecting OSgrid from the grid list hit ok then enter your first and last name and password as shown below:

Hit the "Log In" button to enter the grid you should arrive at our welcome area at Lbsa Plaza.

Alternative Methods
Using the Linden Labs Second Life™ viewer to connect
Microsoft Windows Make a copy of the Second Life icon on your desktop, right click it and edit the Shortcut.
Look for the Path and enter after SecondLife.exe the following code:

-loginuri http://login.osgrid.org -loginpage http://osgrid.org/splash -helperuri http://helper.osgrid.org/

example:
"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -multiple -loginuri http://login.osgrid.org -loginpage http://osgrid.org/splash -helperuri http://helper.osgrid.org/

Apple OSX run from console in the second life app directory:

/Applications/Second\ Life.app/Contents/MacOS/Second\ Life -loginuri http://login.osgrid.org -loginpage http://osgrid.org/splash -helperuri http://helper.osgrid.org/

Generic Linux Kernel
from bash run in the second life app directory:

./secondlife -multiple -loginuri http://login.osgrid.org -loginpage http://osgrid.org/splash -helperuri http://helper.osgrid.org/

Start the client from your newly created icon and enter your
Firstname, Lastname and Password that you chose and connect to the grid.
