What you'll do
- Guide users to resources (bodies, clothes, etc.).
- Explain viewer settings (LOD, cache, graphics).
- Point to correct simulator software & docs.
- Escalate tricky issues to admins/greeters.
Ideal profile
- Avatar age = 1 year.
- Polite, friendly, helpful attitude.
- Understands OSgrid & OpenSim basics.
- Knows their way around the grid.
A note from OSgrid
We love the enthusiasm of new users, but mentoring requires a solid base. OSgrid has no economy; it's powered by volunteers. People run their own simulators; OSgrid maintains the grid infrastructure. Take your time to learn, join meetings, help others, and return to apply when you're ready.
